Scales

Use this form to create, edit, or delete a musical scale/mode preset.

Each checkbox represents a pitch in the western 12-tone scale. A checked box indicates the note is part of the scale. For instance, in the above, starting at C, the notes would be C D E F G# A A#

The Prev and Next buttons scroll through the currently available scales.

The Add button will add the newly-created scale to the list. If either the name or the note-pattern is already in the list, no addition will occur.

The Delete button will erase the scale currently showing.

There is no editing capability available. To edit a scale, it must either be saved under a new name, or be deleted then re-created.
